Is this thread asking if the upgrade is worth it coming from a 2018? I think it all depends how much youve already driven the og. You can think of the 10-20k as the cost of running.

I'm swapping from a MY2017 (took delivery Oct 2016) it has less than 9k miles. My delta ended up being around 11k to make the swap. I paid MSRP for my 2017 (55K) and paying ED MSRP on the 19 M2C.

At that delta it seems like a very low-impact upgrade. Can't argue against that. Plus you get the experience of ED, which goes well beyond dollars and cents. If you like the look of the M2C, and knowing you get the power you want and the ED as cherry on top, seems like an easy call.

I really wanted to keep it at 10 or less but my deal is close enough. I think the depreciation on the 17's are going to hit hard soon so time to get out anyway. I did ED in 2015 for my 2016 M3 and loved it. This time it will be winter which will probably suck but oh well.
