There are 2 different launch control modes ,the normal launch control with the flag and a rolling burnout type of mode where the M-DCT dumps the clutch once the revs pick up , a fun way to kill the continental tyres that came with my car

All motorcycles will do it.. I think with cars its a torque thing; the more powerful ones all seem to do it. Could also have something to do with the idle speed.

Btw, just wondering.... If this doesnt occur, ie if it doesnt want to creep forward in first gear with no throttle applied and youre standing still, then why does it stall if you dont press the clutch in when braking?

It's called clutch slip. Been around since clutches were invented.

Cruise control = with manual transmission, cruise control automatically resumes the programmed speed after shifting (no need to push the resume button, except if holding the clutch a few moments).

The end of your turn signal has two buttons which toggle different information on your gauge cluster (including engine temp).

The steering wheel heating button is located on the steering column.

Both of these took me a while to find.

For cars fitted with MPE and DCT on cold start preferably
1. Press start button with foot OFF brake pedal
2. Double press Blue tooth MPE button to open exhaust flaps into ANGRY mode
3. Press start button as per normal with foot on brake
4. BARKS like an angry PIT bull on full alert..

As fun as this is, I equally wish there was a button combination to shut the thing up in the morning haha. The current method is 'start car > instantly drive away as quickly as possible'.

Was someone offended by my statement that chix and gay dudes like LBB?

Where in my silly statement did I say that straight dudes don't like LBB?

I was merely stating the fact that LBB appeals to all...I live near Midtown and get lots of compliments by the fellas

I'm 50, married, 2 outstanding sons.

Lighten up Francis

any MT car in 1st gear will creep up with no gas if youre on a flat surface, other than that it will stall.

The F87 automatically adds throttle as you let the clutch out as part of the rev-match function, something most manual vehicles do not do.

It's actually a combination of the two. It uses the camera, but if the camera can't read a sign or whatnot, it will fall-back to using GPS info.

Requires car to have Executive package in order to have the safety camera below the rear-view mirror (which is used to read the road signs).

Also probably would not work for a US-spec car in a foreign country (i.e. if you are US military) without some amount of coding or possibly license / region / map changes on the car (which would then have to be reversed when you take the car back to the states).

During my ED, my US spec '18 LCI read the speed limit signs perfectly in Germany, the Netherlands & Austria.
European maps were loaded via a USB flash drive.

As Randy said, not true. My car reliably read speed limit signs in 6 different countries on the ED trip, nothing to do with ED map stick either - no coding changes needed before or after.

Nope - not any MT car. I've owned nearly a dozen, and less than half of them did it. My Miata most definitely does not do it.

That's awesome. Shows that they've made the functionality more "global" rather than segregating things by region (like they did in the past).
