Current gear indicator instead of Eco Shift indicator?

It is annoying, and was confusing at first. Id just as soon turn it off !

But you can disable the suggested gear as others have commented. I tested it out on the missus' 125i M Sport. Voila.

It depends on what type of transmission you have. OP has 6MT, so it doesn't show current gear.

Go through the I-Drive, you can turn it off under vehicle settings. Just uncheck the box for “gearshift indicator” or whatever it’s called. It is grouped with the rest of the gauge cluster display options.

I do not have an option for this in idrive unfortunately.
