But this does not including the brackets and bolts. Essentially, this is the same setup for an OEM CS Front Splitter with the same brackets set (not 100% sure).

So my question is:

Looking at the pictures of the part, do you think it can be installed properly on a M2C bumper using universal bolts and strong adhesive? The brackets cost more than USD 500!
I have this on my car now (with all the appropriate hardware). This is not the lip I would recommend installing if you'd like to be able to remove it someday as it requires cutting 2 sizable pieces out of the lower portion of the bumper cover—even without the brackets being factor. At a minimum, you would need to install the 3x plastic mounts that go in the center section for the lip to hook into.

Can you share pics

But do you think it can be installed without the bracket kit?

Not sure what you'd like photos of, but here it is on my car.

You can also find many images online of the M2 CS Racing. I do think you could install it without the two metal brackets, but again, you'll still need to cut out 2 large sections of the bumper—I don't have photos of this.

I just received my CS Racing lip and yeah, the install is not for the faint of heart. I would have loved to see some shots of your install.

I don't see where you need to cut anything out of your bumper cover but, the parts guys did not order me the two brackets that (I think) mount to the frame so maybe that's where the cutouts are.

I should probably take this to a DM but what did you do with the mount points with no corresponding holes in the bumper cover? Did you use self tapping screws? Looks like there should be mount points for small 6 bolts that were provided (not self tapping).

If you have any shots of the install, let me know, I'll DM you my email as I am curious on a few points.

I attached the schematic. Blue circle is the mount point with no matching hole in the bumper. Red bracket is what wasn't ordered so I'll have to call them up tomorrow.

Would love a rubber front lip. The zaero lip didn't fare so well after my last trip into NYC. Think it happened inside a parking deck with steep ramps. Hard plastics are brittle...

I hear you! I might pull the trigger on the CS Racing rubber front lip down the road.

I actually tried to find out the same. The brackets look solid but they might be a bit overkill for a lip that shouldn't get THAT much of a downforce needing huge metal brackets.

I have a thread about this with the actual parts, but didn't manage to investigate to the end.

Why do you need to cut out the bumper if you are not going to install the metal brackets?

Bumping this old thread - I understand why BMW included those large metal brackets since the lip needs to be super solid for sustained high speed racing applications. However, if you omitted those brackets, it would install just like the M Performance lip, no? It appears that way.

Is there any way to get the zaero evo-s front lip in carbon fiber? Seems like the best option without winglets.
