I think these real life pics look better than the pro ones. That being said, color-matched reflectors would help, as would a black grille of course. I also think the car could use a drop.

Any initial thoughts on whether there would be brake clearance issues on going down to 18" wheels? With the relatively short overhangs and giant flares, the 19's seem too big to me. Anyone else concur?

I saw 18's on an 2015 M4 yesterday and looked great, 18's maybe a bit small for some people especially on a '15 M4 but I like the extra rubber and I think they'll look great on M2. Are there BMW competition wheels that will fit?

E82 1M, E9x M3, F80 M3/M and M2 all look like they can wear the same " shoes"

Most people go with aftermarket Apex wheels like the ARC-8 or EC-7

OEM 18s will certainly fit as well

Awesome, definitely needs grills, a drop, Amber delete, and no rim bigger than 18". Well done though

I hope they get some of these at the M school...would love a chance to lap these back to back with the new M3 at VIR.

Get an MGM2

1. Wait for a lip to come out. Would love the SLEK style lip
2. buy a CF roll with the same weave as the lip and cover up the fangs
3. Aftermarket power dome hood if possible (leave dome in CF and paint match rest of the hood)
4. duck bill spoiler (long one to compensate for the long bumper)
5. CF OEM diffuser or aftermarket
6. CF mirror covers
7. Tint (windows/ reflectors - black)
8. 18" rims with beefy tires
9. dropped
10. my perfect M2

Beautiful car until you see the sides of the headlights
I prefer the reflectors to be on the outside because they can always be removed or changed to clear ones where as in the Audi you would have to buy Euro Spec headlights.

Hey guys, it's been a long day but I had a blast. There are two videos that I sent in to Jason to get posted here, they're not great and shot with my phone but hopefully someone will enjoy them.

These are the only three pictures I was able to get before they hopped in and carted it away, they did a quick run on the large outer loop and then it went straight onto the truck.

Honestly, it looks very similar to the pictures. Either you like it, or you don't. Personally, I'm a fan and will be waiting to find out how it drives before making my next purchase. It certainly has presence when you're standing next to it like the 1M did.

Sorry, that's all I got. They moved it away almost immediately.

Well that's just like, your opinion man. I didn't recall seeing fang mirrors on any M5s or M6s while I was there, are those also disgraces to the M brand?

They certainly looked like it, but the car was filthy and it could have easily been a ton of brake dust that hadn't been washed off yet. The rear tires were also quite worn.

I liked it. Overall, the stance was wide, but not overdone. The front end looked great to me, but if you're on the fence about the rear bumper shape, you might not like it in person either.

Totally agreed! There was a brand new LBB X5 M there all day today and it was noticeably "greener" than the M2 was, I'm not sure if it was because the M2 needed a bath, but they did not look like the same colors at all.

Really hard for me to decide between LBB or AW.
Wait till you see it live..Saw it just just washed on an X6m..Even these outdoor pix don't do it justice..It's pretty spectacular color imo

The e82 1 series is like that. It annoys me to no end.

Good to finally see a real picture. First mod would be to black out those aweful reflectors out back. That looks really bad IMO.

Looks good to me. Can't wait to see one IRL. I agree with those who have said the rear reflectors and fangs In front bumper aren't an attractive features.

I will still probably buy an M2 when my lease is up. The car is the perfect size. I will be tired of the giant GT by then.

totally agree. the 2 series has the best headlights in current BMW lineup. then the 5. then the 6... 3/4 at the bottom.

Sounds like an awesome M2 except I hate seeing wanna-be CF tapes on nice cars such as a BMW. Mitsubishi, yes. Not on BMW.
I love the 18" rims with beefy tires idea. I would look for the F80 18"s.

Oh I definitely feel the same.. however, i'd take the CF on the fangs than to have them exposed. I used a roll of CF on my F30 front lip and it looked pretty awesome. 10 minute job with some extra protection against debris
