Child seats and seat protector
It looks like it was made for our interiors. I use this in my car.

I didn't use any "protection" in mine because in my F80 it was worse with child seat protection. It had left traces in the leather!

Bumping up for the group.
I really like the Diono 3rxt. However, it doesn't fit as snuggly as I would like it to. I put it in a toyota avalon this past week and it was rock solid. The rear seat shape and seatbelt geometry doesn't seem to allow this seat to be held firmly against the cars seat at the base. Lateral stability is good and so is the hold from the top anchor. Tried with and without seat protector. My background with car seats. Proper way to install with seatbelt is to feed the belt through and attach. Pull all the slack out of the belt and release slowly until it clicks as the slack is winding up. Put knees on the seat and rock back and forth pulling out slack from seatbelt to increase tension. Twist the seat belt buckle a few times if too long and it interferes with where it passes through seat and limiting ability to tension. Looking for feedback on car seats with solid fit. |

I went with the Graco TurboBooster LX for the five year old and the Graco Transitions SnugLock for the little guy.
We don't have Graco in any of our other cars but these were decent. I liked that the booster had Latch to bond it in place when she wasn't in it but didn't put any pressure on the leather, and the SnugLock system seemed to work well to add and release tension easily when kids are in or out of the car to also help the leather. I also have the seat protector you recommended for both. Both seats fit inside the curves of the seat well in back and are light and easy to handle in and out and with high safety ratings.

Adding my two cents, be on the look out for car seats that don't use toxic flame retardants which your kids have their face and skin touching while breathing in the off gassing.
Clek makes some and a few others.
