M2c Owners Manual fail

What's wrong with this picture? Is yours also this way? Am I the first person to notice this? And am I the only person on earth who still reads the owners manual?

I drove my brand new M2c home 12/22 and am letting it sit in storage until spring. I think the frustration of not getting to drive it is starting to have negative effects on what passes for my sanity. So while reading through my manual I couldn't help noticing this. Don't know why, but it bugs the hell out of me that they'd do this to the cover of the manual - an ad or web page wouldn't be so bad. Even more annoying than the 47 reminders to obey all local laws (even in the climate control section?! - can you even break a law with your AC controls?). I'll just go and alphabetize all the canned goods now.

Tires smoking but not spinning? I like to imagine the photo is taken right after a burnout with the tires still smoking.

Hmm.. Sounds to me like someone's tinfoil hat might be on a little too tight..

I think the OP has an issue that the M2 is doing a burnout when you are not allowed to on a public street however the smoke like mist from the rear could be mistaken for humidity from the exhaust on a cold winters morning would be BMW's defence

I'm guessing it's the lack of reflectors in the front bumper on a North American M2c and that it has a European front plate.

M2 logo is on the wrong side. It's supposed to be on the right kidney grille.

It helps that I have the M2C as my computer wallpaper for the last two years. Took me about 20 seconds to figure it out.

The location of the background is actually Hong Kong. The promos feature some iconic HK buildings, and the mountains directly behind the buildings give it away that the location is HK Island. Tokyo is a much larger city so the mountains are much farther away.
