M2 Futura (Pics)

I went looking for an M2 CS while I impatiently wait for mine. I didn't find a CS but I found this. The M2 Futura....pretty whack if you ask me. The paint work looks like it was done with a rattle can. The seats were pretty cool, but for almost 9k more no thanks.

Why would anyone want this. It looks like someone just used some stencils in random places. There is no aesthetic to it at all.

it is absolutely terrible. im surprised that BMW let this happen. It looks so amateur. I mean there are better ways to the same designs to a car. In person it literally looks like a spray can was used. Its also looks like it can be removed with a good polish/buffer

This is ridiculous. I definitely agree with other comments - just looks like a bunch of randomly placed shyte with no relation at all to the "canvas", aesthetic or idea of an M car or M2. Lightning & circular saw blades & "mist" - or is it "myst"? What the living hell? And BMW touts the add-ons and artist like it's a big deal.

I was reading about the artist and people talk about him like he's a big deal. I most definitely do not get it, and I like some weird shit.

Pick Banksy if you're gonna do something like this. At least he'd do something snarky as all get out, with a story or some kind of allegory and it would be done extremely well.

There's an idea... someone take this BMW, set it out in a vacant lot somewhere & put a call out to Banksy to go to town. LOL

I love how they whack you for $9900 for the "ugly stick" package, then still have the gall to tack on the $550 for metallic paint.

Eeek. I may be in the minority, but white / cream leather on those seats look so out of place. Such an after-thought package (as is the other "special edition" package with these seats).

I'm not understanding this direction at all. CS gloss 763's with a full alcantara interior and heavy flake in the paint would have gone over much better IMO.

The M2 CS adopted those wheels. Was the first BMW M2 available with 763M in Jet Black (M Performance Parts 763M = Matt Black with MPP logo embossed).

Wow so many haters on the futura. My wife just picked one up 8k off msrp. You are paying a 9k premium for wheels and seats and one of the top graffiti artists work. We are super happy with our purchase. 1 of 30 in the US. 500 in the world. M2c will always be M2c. 🤗

I wonder what it would take to have the offending parts resprayed? It looks like it's just the front and rear bumper. If you could get this for $8-10k off then spend $1-2k respraying you would end up with are really nice ride. (Assuming of course you like the interior)
