Guess I'll have one of the 10 or so AW on Black CS' in the US. Went with the steelies to play off the red stitching. 2nd choice was HS/BLK/CCBs.
Yeahh, choosing the options as been nothing short of a dilemma (don't even begin with the transmission) changed it up several times already, but happy where I landed...

Congratulations! I think the perfect choice! Less striking but not less beautiful, on the contrary...
Here just leaving the 'beauty center' after a treatment with Xpel and Gyeon Quartz Coating.

Such a hard decision! All look amazing in every color. MB was my choice and I love it. The curves are a thing of beauty.

Buy what you love.

I may be totally wrong in this line of thinking but I believe you can order HS on any BMW with individual colour available as an option.

MadBR you may be correct but that would be the first or one of a rare occurance of that happening. I cant recall an M specific colour, which are named after a racing Circuits, used on non M cars.

This post runs through a few examples of what I am jibbering about. (Laguna Seca Blue, yarmy)

The first sentence was wonderfully ambiguous. Haha.

Tiny hands Achilles had an HS standard 3 series on one of his videos. I think it was a wagon from memory.

Sorry Alpine* , you are absolutely right, I should have been more specific and say BMW M line up (I recall seeing something in passing about an M8 it similar in HS but can't put my finger on it having searched for it)

IMO the blue is the best. I don't think pictures do it justice as you can't get an appreciation for the metallic flake.

But any of the colors are good if it's all you can find!

It's definitely a personal choice. All 4 colours look good IMO so it comes down to what we're each after. I like being a little more on the down low so MB with Gold Wheels was never going to be my DD.

I'm very happy with HS with the black and carbon contrasts - makes the car look special and classy. We were going to get crayon on a 718 GTS and we're really pleased HS was an option on the CS. In fact, the metallic sheen and flecks of HS add a reflectivity to light and shade that makes it superior IMO than the more matted crayon on the Porsche.

BMW gave us 4 color choices. No one can say , this colour is better than the other ! It all comes down to personal preference , you may see a pink CS and say wtf , and for me could be my dream colour.

Imagine not having the option , just like some people from South Africa . Their dealership spec 28 cars - and there are more than 300 people on the lists , and they will be selling those on auction !

And in order to participate in the auction you should first have history with them (what other special models) or (how many bmw they bought) basically based on loyalty to the brand !

And without a choice ! You might want a blue and then comes a white , you might want a 6spd but there is only dct left.

Thats the problems !

Again , there is not right or wrong , neither better or worse. Colour is simply based on personal preference.

I think you mean chalk. I love that Porsche color.

Secretly I want the m2cs in hock silver with MB a close second .

I looked it up and we're both correct looks like there may be different color names for different geographies for Porsche. Sounds complicated. It does mention it's a 'solid' color which is one of the reasons I think I prefer the slightly more glossed, liquid character of Hockenhein silver.

"Light gray solid color, also named as "Chalk", "Race Trak Gray", "Chalk" or "Kreide", coded as LM9A used by Porsche since 2015."

It's crayon in Australia. I looked at a 992 in that colour. Very nice. HS is more dynamic though. I think both colours suit the respective cars very well.

I was a day away from buying a black one with gold wheels, however I was thinking about Blue the entire time. This thread helped me make my decision, even though I have to wait and get it out of state.....thanks for all the pics!

As long as you pick BSM, you made the right choice.
