How does the sport tuner do on California 91 gas? Is it even worth it? I thought people were saying that on California 91 gas the M2 was pulling timing even stock on a dyno?

Even a Dinantronic Stage One, which unlike sport tuner adjusts more than just boost, is not netting you any more peak power than stock on 91, because M2 is trading timing for boost up top from stock. This is why M2 feels a lot slower in summer on stock cooling system.

Though on 91, from sport tuner you'll be getting a huge torque bump from 2500~5000rpm that's for sure.

Good feedback here. Bottom line from my understanding:
- issues with DCT
- may get limp mode on track days

Note: I have 6MT and I plan on tracking. Should I buy one? Thanks in advance!

Yes there’s others that have reported their m2’s being strong and consistent in sport + mode but in race mode - m2 doesn’t like it at near 6000rpm and upwards as per dyno chart below.

Yes !!
Is it just related to the boost display or it is also related to the boost setting with your car? Any news from Dinan_Engineering ?

this has been quiet for few months... any additional long term users comments, and conclusions? Thinking about buying one, but live in TX, have a DCT, and track the car...

It works for the price or took a little bit to adapt to my car.

At the end I swap it for the dinan stage 1

You live in Houston and track. You're begging for an upgraded intercooler first and foremost.

I had the sport tuner for around 6 months and loved it, especially for the price. Most users move on to either stage 1 or 4 given the unproven long-term reliability of this boost controller. But Dinan performs a ton of R&D on their products so it's "probably" safe for the long haul.

Just installed the sport tuner on my m2. I had the same issue in race mode got a misfire on WOT on a pull from 60mph. Guessing I should just keep the sport tuner in sport + mode and just forget about race mode.

I don't understand why anyone would want to get this product over a JB4.(assuming you can only chose between piggybacks)
