Superb. Fantastic job documenting the process - the video does a thorough job of highlighting the raw skill and attention to detail required to execute the project.

It's certainly a commendable machine.
There will be a G87 M2 CSL. The F-series couldn't have a CSL for two reasons; the release of the M3/M4 and the EOL in Europe of the M2 since the engine is not homologated anymore due to emission regulations.

Orange suites the M2 well.
The experience with the plate has been wonderful for the last two years. No issues whatsoever.

Look at the concept, it is the same there

@MR. Is the roof still CF or did you change it back?

And what tune did Beek choose to get 520BHP out of the S55?

Roof is still there and if you watch the Topaz Detailing video, you will notice how we incorporated the roof into the Turbomeister design.

The tune was custom made for my car. There is no specific "tune" example we choose. We made it custom for what I wanted to see out of the car.

Considered that, but we decided differently.

Full list of weight reductions? I see you are citing wheels and brake rotors but I am not sure what else contributed to the 110kg reduction which is pretty substantial.

Wheels, brakes, exhaust, downpipes, battery, roof, bonnet, trunk, carbon intake, suspension, and some other smaller parts. Seats are on order so that offers even more weight saving.

MR
Do you consider to also remove the back seats and fit a roll cage (as on the BMW 2002 Hommage - 'Turbomeister') ?

Or do you prefer to preserve 4-seat functionality (maybe also for future technical inspection reasons) ?

MR
What was the weight savings for the trunk? I was surprised bmw left this off the M2CS, and it appears the M5CS only received a carbon roof and trunk.

Could you give a quick review of the spray on PPF. This was brought up recently in a discussion. I think it looks like a great alternative, but was unwilling to take the plunge in case it didn't turn out well. I went with regular PPF, but my gut was telling me the spray on would be superior.

I expected the M2 CS to also get the CFRP front fenders and CFRP trunk, as those were also made available by M Performance Parts. Those would have set the M2 CS even more apart from the M2C and further reduced weight. We know that the M2 CS got bespoke CFRP parts (for example the front splitter, roof and trunk spoiler are different compared to the M Performance Parts iterations). Only the CFRP diffuser and CFRP side mirror caps were used. The embossed "M Performance Parts" logo was omitted on the 763M + different black finish (glossy instead of matte).

But of course adding also those expensive bits and pieces would have further increased the MSRP.

Nope, that is not CSL for me. I will keep the four seats.

Standard puddle light projectors from BMW. They are available via your dealer. The specific Turbomeister design that is projected on the floor and comes on a little disc you put into the projector, is unique to this car. There is only one set, which was custom made for me by BMW M Performance.

Jägermeister - Turbomeister theme: back in 2016, Monholo Oumar made renders of Jägermeister livery on existing 1M pictures (see here).
