Car feels sluggish after catless downpipe

Yesterday I did catless downpipe and MHD st2 (91oct). The rest is bone stock.

During daily driving the car now feels kind of sluggish at low speeds vs stock. Is this to be expected?

Most people talk about the noise and the smell (not as bad as I thought), but how about the throttle response?

It is mostly noticeable in comfort mode, but even in sport/sport+ mode it feels like I must press the pedal deeper and wait longer for the car to get moving.

After fitting a downpipe (200cel not decat) along with improved top end power i noticed a loss in bottom end torque which I put down to less back pressure, however once I loaded the bm3 tune response was restored to as per oem just with the added power throughout the rpm range.

Thats why I did the MHD stage 2 but I still feel less torque down low.
Now I have resetted all adaptations and the car feels better, so maybe I should give it some time.

Then I would think it's heat soak on the stock intercooler because it can't handle the heat from stage 2.

It was mostly normal driving and did not push the car hard.
Also outside temperatures are 5°F so intake temps are super low.

But for warmer days I have a Wagner Evo2 on the way.

I have the stock cat but after installing the Remus cat back I also noticed a pretty big difference in throttle response. It just didnt seem as fun. I did recently did get the latest Istep upgrade at the dealer and it helped but the low end throttle power just doesnt seem to be quite as good as it was before the exhaust. It definitely sounds better though!
