Good: Moar Power. CF goodies. Exhaust. Limited Edition goodies. Manual choice.

But lack of good color choices and can get same power with a tune is pushing me away.

I will stick with my m2c order (hopefully)

I'd like to see this come in around 80-85k loaded. I would consider coming back to the brand. It would compliment my gt3 well and maybe stop me from looking at my neighbors E63 estate. Not like I need the long roof anyway.

I am guessing it will be 80-85 without CCB.

Hoping for less, but if you use M3/4 CS prices as a guide, 80+ seems likely.

Never had any access to pricing. My info is all from the engineering side. This is also why I was promising three different M3 versions until a few days ago and then had to take my words back: I know what is being designed but not everything that's been designed goes on sale.

M3 Comp (dct)- $74,150
M3 CS- $98,250
CS Premium- +33%

M4 Comp (dct)- $76,800
M4 CS- $103,100
CS Premium- +34%

Theoretically...M2 CS ($58,900 + 33.5%)=
$78,680 (manual)
$81,580 (dct)

Now take into consideration the M3 and M4 already have things like carbon roof, adaptive suspension built into the base car. I'd wouldn't be surprised if msrp is over $80k.

Loaded with dct and carbon ceramics, it will be into the $90k's. Carbon ceramics are an $8k option.

I think you're right on - I've been guessing 80-85 for a while now.

If they're smart, they won't price it that high. it would be pretty compelling for ~70, but we will see what they do.

I don't think you guys are factoring in ADM. the lucky ones will snatch this at MSRP, but the majority will have to cough up probably at least 10-30k OVER sticker considering there'll only be 2,200 produced within 9 months then it's over.

Moreover, the new generation M2 may not come in 6spd.

No hater here love them both...I own 18 LCI, crazy good deal with 2200 miles PPF and ceramic coating....that's the best upgrade for all of them the protection as they chip up easily without it.

How do arrive at the 2200 number? Is that for USA and Canada only? Details please?

Any figures for worldwide production?

Not sure how high over MSRP it will go??? The M3/4cs are selling under MSRP around here in Northern Virginia.

Also, the new M2 will be assembled in Mexico 😩

I'll take it just for the added adaptive suspension and carbon fiber parts.. It's unique to the M 2 series world and I suspect will commander a high residual value.

I look at this car as the Euro-only E46 M3 CSL; one of a kind, for its time period.

It would nice it they retain the comfort access, anyone has intel on that?

What would sell me is if there were actually some changes to the turbos. All the other stuff other than the suspension, you can buy or tune if you like and I guess even the turbos you could upgrade on your Comp model..but if that (including upgraded turbos) is all in one package I could see myself pulling the trigger on one of these.

Even my SA said he hopes BMW learned from their M3CS pricing fiasco. He also said he thought my hope for low to mid 70s is optimistic. I'm still betting it's a little less than 75k with 6mt.

Odds of that happening are slim to none. M4 base/comp/cs/gts are use same turbos. They won't change them for the lonely M2 CS.

Loaded with dct and carbon ceramics, it will be into the $90k's. Carbon ceramics are an $8k option.
I concur.

The M2 market is a lot different. Hard for some to swallow a $100k+ msrp on a M4. But a $80k msrp on more limited M2 CS with a manual option is easier to take. I suspect BMW knows this car will be more sought after. In fact I see them selling over msrp if the 9 month production and 2,200 units is correct.

It is in the dealer bulletin.

Production 3/2020 - 12/2020
2,200 units

Whether that is for North America or World...unknown. Given the short production window, I would say worldwide. M4CS was 3,000 units worldwide w/ 2 year production. M3CS was 1,200 units worldwide w/ 1 year production.
