No CF Roof was one thing, but this shows BMW does not care how many M2's sell. |

I just wish it had a moonroof like my E36 M3. I don't care about the glass necessarily.

I think it's the cover. The rattle stops if I open slightly the moonroof cover, but sometimes I have to open it to just the right position. The cover itself is noticeably more flimsy/lighter than the one in my 335is. I guess my point is that build quality is lower on the 2 series, so more parts will generally equal more obvious issues with those parts.

NO.. I hate them. I called Lexus and Audi and we can't even get a car in the US without them. This was reason I started looking at BMW products. They gained a customer by not shoving a moonroof on me.
Now if we could only delete the power seats. |

I wouldn't want a moonroof on the M2 but you guys that want one should ask your SA to phone BMWNA and ask them if you can do a special order for one.BMW Canada charges $500 for special orders plus the cost of the option.I would assume if it is approved, you would have to pay the $500 special order fee and then add on what it costs for the moonroof option on the M235i.

I'm thrilled about the lack of moonroof. If I want wind in my face I roll the side windows down.
No moonroof = less weight and less things to break (and lighten my wallet). I would prefer manual seats, as well. |

Once a car becomes a track car, a moonroof is not preferred of course! The 1M has no moonroof and I love it, however it's not a daily driver for me. After 4 years without a moonroof of any sort, I just picked up an X with a panoramic roof for a daily driver |

I am pretty sure BMW calculated that to hit their target base price they could either include the moonroof or the higher level of base equipment (power seats, Nav etc). Personally I am 100% ok with that. I would have ordered moonroof delete otherwise.
