M Lap Timer will probably only show up if you have an iOS device connected which has the app installed.

(It's BMW's version of something like Harry's Lap Timer).

in that ECU, go to 3001, shown as "EXBOX"

change value to desired option. in my case i did 2100mA (shown below as configured by default)

Hmm. I really wanted to rearrange my id6 lite tiles, but this doesn't work for me. If I move the controller, it acts as a page left/right. My 17, week 25 build.

I just coded air circulation setting memory and now I can't turn off climate control. I can turn the fan speed up and down but can't turn it off. I tried restoring the backup but doesn't fix it, anybody know how to fix this? Thanks.

Just realized it has to be calibrated, or the fan won't turn off.

After a bit of fiddling ive managed to rearrange the tiles.

Select the tile using the idrive controller 'left - right' once the tile is top bar is highlighted press down on the idrive circular centre button, then you can move the tile using left and right, push the circular idrive button once the new position is OK

1) Hi. I got the vgate icar 2 Mini: http://amzn.to/2ujWrg5

2) You can do the mods now especially if just doing ASD. Even if dealer blows that out with software reset you can easily redo it. They are not likely to blow out your software though with a full update.

3) Backup factory settings are backed up by the app automatically I believe

For now. However, an Android version will be forthcoming according to the dev.
I bought a used iPhone off eBay, just to run the app. Was still cheaper than Carly.

Can someone clarify this for me please..... in order to get the seat to move AKA comfort seat access, can this be done in normal mode or do you have to change to the more complicated mode?

As you can see I am a novice at this and I am scared to feck up the car!

My understanding of the discussion on here implies it has to be expert mode. I have not and do not plan on making this change though, so hopefully someone with actual experience can chime in.

It's only supported in expert mode. There's a post and link to the excel coding document that's been put together with the settings. I've done it and it works great.
