Don't know if they'll be quite as pronounced, but the comp is meant to be getting 3 'dimples' on the redesigned splitter.

I dislike the green hues in the LBB.
I have been told by 3 women in my life that if I get white, it looks like I'm trying too hard.
I don't care for the M2 in black.
Sunset orange may be too "brownish red" for me( I would take a brighter orange)
H.Silver is my last hope, as long as it is a darker shade of silver, I may be interested.
If these colors turn out the way I think they may, will give someone my Number 1 and/or number 3 spot at 2 different dealerships.
Again, sorry for the negativity, but may just stick with GT3 and find a different daily
I’ll take your number 1 spot if you decide not to go for it.

Affirmative, but a bit smaller.

Cool feature + functional:

Wow, those slats look awesome! I knew immediately that I had to have an M2 when I realized they were coming out with the S55 engine, then was slightly disappointed in their dropping the metallic grey, but reinvigorated with the redesigned front-end and especially those slats! A Black Sapphire Metallic with that front-end; after adding a few selective carbon fiber items; lowering the car and adding 12mm spacers....all I can say is that will be one incredible looking car. My pulse races when I think about it

If you want to better notice those intake slats, choose another color than BSM.

Today Forum fellow adamalexxx posted the first spy shots of the M2 Competition finally showing the M Mirrors with upper stubby/stalk.

Still no diffuser mounted yet (unlikely that BMW M will leave the exhaust muffler that much exposed).

Looks as if the pictures were taken from inside an M2.

That rear muffler really ruins it all. Must have one big ass diffusor to cover that up.....

Artemis, do you think they look the same as the ones on the pic that Gatte posted?

Not to me. Take a look. The test mule mirror looks longer and more aerodynamic. Gatte's looks - aftermarket - sort of.

Might have been easier to let some of the tape cover open space as opposed to taping the exact contours ...

Gatte's still (from a video) shows the real deal.

Don't be fooled by the camouflage, ChrisK. The one shown by Gatte is hiding underneath that camouflage.

Don't worry about the exhaust. Its shape + some camo is a tell-tale sign that a diffuser is supposed to be mounted too.

M3 CS during testing:

M3 CS as released:

Does all of that camo on the front of the vehicle mean that the entire area is a design change from the 2018 M2?

Compared to the current M2, the M2 Competition has a new front end. Still very M2 recognizable, but redesigned especially to generate even more cooling. Don't forget that an N55 to S55 engine change ain't just swapping the engines and calling it a day.

Form follows function. If you think that the current M2 front end is kinda cool, well, for the M2 Competition BMW M made it kinda 'cooler'. It's more than an LCI - it's a new model.

The jury is still out on if the new front end is going to be cooler and look better than the current M2.Just because it is new doesn't mean it will look better.I'm not sold on the design of those connecting kidney grilles and the vents in the bottom of the front spoiler look a little bit to much like an aftermarket product.I will reserve judgment until we see the official pics of the car.

This is how i feel too. I understand that it takes time to get used to changes but i can't see it happening with a larger grill that is joined in the middle.

More openings and/or larger openings for cooling, probably because they aren’t going topmount intercooler with the M2 Competition(no hood bulge).

The joke is on all of us. There are no M mirrors, just camo to lead you to that false conclusion. Wouldn't they make the camo more boxy like 2er if they were actually trying to disguise the M mirrors?
