It certainly is very annoying. Some don't seem to mind on the mx35i/40i's but I found it really intrusive on my m135i and even worse on the M2. Our other car a Focus 1.0, 3 cylinder has stop start but on that its fine, a little cough and your off.

I still code it off regardless - even though sometimes you can hear a faint hiss, it?s better than going deaf by turning the radio up 90% of the way to hear music over the fake engine noise. |

Is it possible to code your cars interior lights? Not sure how that works. For example, if it's possible to change the instrument cluster lights from orange to white.

I have a MY17 M2 and I can't access the Headunit ECU. It's just grayed out. I believe I used to be able to access it. Using the recommended icarII wifi obd reader. I tried the setting in Bimmercode to read slowly but that didn't help.
I am recoding because I had BMW update the software of the car for an electric steering issue with it pulling to the right a bit. http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...B#post21940066 Would a software update like this from BMW make the headunit unreadable from Bimmercode? Advanced safety module was grayed out as well. |

It?s not just ID5/6, my MY16 with ID4 also has the same issue - the app on split screen comes and goes every few days. It?s a recent issue and hadn?t happened before.
