mike,
could you be kind enough to link me to some pics of 102mm "black chrome angled" (similar to what's on the oem tips, but larger obviously) Sport exhaust on an actual M2C??

trying to make a decision here in the next couple of weeks on which direction to go, and i'd love to see some but can't find any.

right now, i was leaning towards the AC Schnitzer exhaust, but obviously the price is an issue for what it is

There is not black chrome angled 102mm, you have the straight cut black chrome tips 98mm (called black street race) or the 102mm carbon angled tips

This is not a good sign for European owners of this exhaust...

Joe had engine warning lights going on, and he has only a Remus slip-on backbox installed on his car. He stated the same which many people have had before that have this issue on European cars. I have seen it also with other aftermarket slip-on systems.

Not a good sign! All European owner with Remus systems if the engine warning light goes on, be aware it could well be the OPF.

Well that's a pain. Was just about to go with a Remus but don't want Check engine lights. MR, did you get any closer to a solution that could disable the OPF but avoid a full tune for Europe?

Could any of the exhaust gurus here explain the offset muffler can design (instead of the standard flow thru) for me? I think the only other time I have seen this design is on the old HKS for the 350z.

does it flow better?
louder?

Testing is still on going. First tests have been done.

Getting it to the market is proofing an ultimate pain in the backside...

Thanks MR, keep us informed.....
I wonder if the cel risk might be lower with the sport version of the Remus box, compared to the race version on Joe's car?

I think the sport doesn't have this issue. AC Schnitzer are running that as their system and they haven't reported any issues in my direction.

What's the reason of the engine light with only a slip on? No sensor removed, no air flow measured

I would imagine it’s the lack of back pressure that the post/cat sensor picks up due to the exhaust being a bit more ‘free-flowing’. People with backbox deletes, but keeping resonator and OPF’s have also experienced limp mode/CEL

Guys, Remus is planning to release a linkpipe for the M2C. That is what I heard earlier this week, so check if this is true with your local dealers.

I'm getting the CEL and limp mode too, same reasons as above. Quick reset and it's come on again after hundred or so miles.
Been told a Stage 1 tune will fix this issue, anyone know if it will or do i risk losing warranty and even more money?

For now only a tune is available that disables the OPF sensors. You don't need stage 1 for that. You just need those sensors disabled.
