Definitely, as the 1M is the only BM I ever regret selling. Only 18kms on delivery. Love the wheels, as went for all the all black gloss. |

Very nice! That's what I have on my M2C. I can't say I like the bi-colour on HS, it needs the black especially with the grey calipers hiding behind. The 788s are a PITA to clean though. Enjoy

Hey guys,
I'm looking at a m2comp and wondering what people are getting price wise now a days. I understand production is about to stop so I don't have much time! Anyway, I use to have an og m2, and would love a m2cs but acted too late! So if anybody is happy to asvise me of the sort of pricing they got it would be greatly appreciated. |

In the other thread people are getting 100-105k DA for built to order specs late 2020/early 2021. I'd think it's still reasonable to aim for that. |

Then add on some reasonably essential options like metallic paint, sunroof, a service pack, and the LCT and GST on those options. Then add on stamp duty, CTP, Rego, and dealer delivery. After all that you will be arriving at a drive away list price of around $120k. |

My bad I thought onroads included LCT So DCT + sunroof (and assuming metallic paint) for 107k is a discount of about 4k before onroads. |

I'm almost there, the car arrives in Adelaide in a few days. Hopefully much of the weekend will be spent trying to see how much brake-dust CCBs don't leave behind Yummmmm, can't wait

One other thing you should consider before ordering a new M2 now is that it runs iDrive6 (which has now been superseded by iDrive7) and the interior is a circa 2018 design. None of that equipment is bad, but it does date pretty quickly. I also have a 2021 118i in the family fleet which runs iDrive7 with a Head Up Display as standard equipment. The interior and dash are all fresh designs from 2020 and it's a noticeable leap ahead of what you get in the current M2 (which doesn't have a HUD). The M2 will always suffer a little on the equipment front to separate if from the M3, but I was surprised at how well appointed a new 1 series can be compared to the M2, even though the cars are $50k apart in price. I have also had a close up look at the new M3/M4, and although this is expected because they are further up the model hierarchy, their interiors are an absolute quantum leap ahead. If you're buying an M2 for the driving thrill it's probably not a huge deal, but if the latest tech and interior ergonomics are an important part the experience then you might feel a little disappointed and it may be better to wait for the replacement G series or whatever it's called. I say this as someone who only ordered their M2C in Dec 2020... Last edited by J15; 03-16-2021 at 06:31 PM.. |

Priced an LCI - M2C swap last weekend
My Grey M2 LCI DCT is coming to the end of its 3 year lease and I went back to the same dealer last weekend (no others) looking to trade in for a new HS M2C with sunroof. effeciively like for like. I was a little torn as i dont need to go any faster and as others have said the interior is similar and the sound isnt better but i have never held onto a car previously.
I didn't offer my car as a trade in knowing the S/hand market is pretty good at the moment so a straight purchase only. Confirming what most others have said: There is little to no stock in Aus and its mainly factory orders BMW has reduced price support as they are selling well everywhere and production ends shortly The $180k price for a spec'd new model M4 is also driving people to the M2 Dealer quoted close to $110k and let me walk away on a lower number i countered with. i just couldnt bring myself to pay that when i bought the current one as a demo with 1000km for $91k. looks like i will hang onto it until the new model shape arrives. Happier to pay closer to retail for a brand new shape. PS offered a new 340M for $100k but 4 doors are a deal breaker |
