Just for reference, below is the dyno chart from G-power's website that belongs to an S55 M3/M4 (probably non-comp). As you can see, M2C already making the same HP as a stock M3/M4 (and in fact with more torque). Obviously, these two cars weren't on the dyno same day but still a relevant comparison.
M3/M4: 439.6 HP, 551.7 Nm M2C: 439.3 HP, 607.6 Nm |

Very nice. So despite the OPF and different tune in EU to compensate for it they probably still tend to scatter upwards.

Awesome numbers. I wonder if that 0.1 bar boost severely outweighs the OPF's restriction and euro cars are higher #'s...

Anyone know if BMW will reflash US spec cars to euro spec for the 0.1 bar increase? Would be a good "mod" for US spec cars.

No, they certainly won't. It's like asking if BMW will flash M3/M4 Comp to M3/M4 CS software. I'm pretty confident they will never offer EU spec software flash for US spec cars. However, they might release an M2 CS/L version soon with 10-20hp more. It will be their way of saying "if you want more boost from the factory then upgrade to CS/L (which will probably cost significantly more than M2C)".

M2C was Dyno'd (From Facebook w/Graph)
This was on FB. See below. Not my Comments.
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...8WZ4AqOn3E-S-p ************************************************** ***************** "M2C DYNO RESULTS IN!! DYNO results on a stock EU spec M2 Competition.. M2 Competition (Sep 27, 2018 test - Germany): 439.3 hp output and 607nm or 447lbft. The good bit is having over 550nm of torque from 2500-5500rpm!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 What BMW told the public...410 hp and 550 Nm. 😂😂 I was only saying today my M2C felt as fast as my 435bhp/450lbft LCI M2!! The same company tested a stock M4 and these were the results for ref: M4: 439.6 HP, 551.7 Nm!! We have more torque potentially than a M4/M3" ************************************************** *****************

Did the rev limiter intervene? It could just be the operator stopped the test @ 7400, yes? I believe power drops off @ 7k so spinning beyond that is a waste of engine with exception of tracking and needing a preferred gear in a respective corner.
^ Sorry, I just saw your post GWM2.

I think the dyno shows pretty clearly the lazy / linear feel is created via throttle sensitivity and not by lowering the torque output. |
