Has anyone coded out the hazard lights on hard braking? These brakes are pretty good and i'm constantly setting the f*ckign things off. It's a little annoying. I'd rather just have brake flashing, not hazards.

Note: This probably only relates to UK/EMEA cars, not US models.

I've tried this tonight only to discover the option is already active, (which makes no sense) as no sound is emitted from the car when its locked. I've raised a support request with Bimmercode. Lets see what they come back with.

I would pay for it but every time I call they say they not sure on an exact date as yet.

Are you asking about this or are you actually wanting the cars horn to honk at locking? I could be wrong but I don't think you have an option for the horn to sound when locking rather only the acoustic signal/beep.

You can't simply "code it on". You need to install a license just as you do with maps.

found this on F30 code list...but i think it just has to do with brake lights and not hazards...

I have not yet done it, next week I have the 2000 revision, I have the application bought, waiting, as soon as I do it, I indicate the result. Thank you.

I just turn off my sidemarker lights and now I'm getting an error, "your right and left turn signal malfunction!!". Any have the same problems?

Thanks for this, yes you are right it's the locking / unlocking Beep. I received feedback from Stephan @ Bimmercode - super fast reply , he also told me to code "Checkbox acoustical lock confirm“ in the head unit module. Then go into settings for the door, and tick the accoustic sig loc/unlock.

I've noticed the following option (I think it wasn't available in the previous releases):
Settings > Adapter > Slow communication

No my turn signal doesn't work. Just the blinkers on my side mirrors work.

That's odd. Did you replace with LED or are they factory? I'd recommend doing a restore and testing to make sure they work, then try again.

Anyone else have really crappy connection to the iCar 2? Symptoms I've experienced:

1) Wifi will be connected, but BimmerCode can't connect (times out)
2) Wifi will be connected, but BimmerCode can't connect (Socket error)
3) Wifi will disconnect quite often

Just got it today, was able to get most of the coding I wanted done, but not without lots of cursing and bad times.

I sometimes get symptom 1, but usually because the icar 2 interface didn't have a valid IP address but never symptoms 2 & 3 - perhaps your device is faulty?
