Hockenheim silver and lit up M2 seat decal at night
Firstly, thanks to everyone here for your posts and info. Learned a lot and helped me make my decision to get the M2C. Long time lurker but haven't posted.
Finally picked up my first M2 yesterday and am in love. Came from a BMW 135i and decided it was time for an upgrade. Ordered in late September, came on Bess last week. Hockenheim Silver, manual, black wheels, orange stitching, MSRP in NorCal. No moon roof, no executive package. Thought I would contribute with something I haven't seen anywhere yet. Took a photo of the M2 seat decal lit up and HS at night. HS looks quite grey at night. Almost caulk like. It's an amazing color. The lit up decal adds that cool factor. I love it. Looking forward to posting more here in the future! P.S. I had the car delivered with the shipping wrap still on. That's why the hood and roof is white P.P.S. I have no idea how I am going to get through break-in... It's going to be rough. So tempting. Last edited by fujison82; 01-09-2019 at 11:58 PM.. |

Congrats on the car!
I actually got my car delivered today. I'm also in California (Southern) but purchased out of state because I got a discount. Mine was a dealer build: HS, DCT, bi-color wheels, and orange stitching. I posted some pics tonight in the thread below. Post #97 https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1515072&page=5 |

If you use bimmercode to have the puddle lights come one when reversing (helps to see curbs when mirror turns down) the M2 seat logo lights up too. Kind of silly every time you put it into reverse to have them light up haha

Every pic I see magnifies the excitement tenfold. And to make it worse, I opted to re-order mine this week (better deal) so now I've had to rejoin the rear of the production line. Last edited by B19DDW; 01-10-2019 at 05:08 PM.. |

The installer just started prepping for paint correction and sent me some paint measurements. Interestingly the rear right bottom edge of the trunk lid next to the bumper has the lowest depth. 4.8 with clear coat. So watch out for scratches on the corner of the trunk. HS and black wheels are definitely the fastest |

Hmmm... Lol, that's not silly. It's brilliant. Know anyone with bimmercode in NorCal who might wanna meet up?

It lets you play with much of the settings of the car that aren't normally accessible via the idrive interface. I did notice that some of the functions won't work with M2C. I tried to change the door bonger to rolls royce but it didn't do anything. Other stuff does work though. Maybe bimmercode just needs an update |

Are there any SF Bay meetups that you're aware of? I'm also super interested in using bimmercode to disable ActiveSound. |

Hey, noticed you said you picked up the car with all the shipping wrap on... Do you know if they removed the shipping blocks from the suspension? I dunno what prep the dealer did before you picked it up, so figured I'd ask in case they weren't removed. Just looking out.

Gonna double check the the suspension stoppers now that you mentioned it. It didn't feel like they were still there. Gonna search up on what to look for. Lol |

I went back and forth between blue and orange when I ordered but glad I chose orange. It really adds a pop to the interior. Blue is a bit more subtle but probably matches better with the M colors. I wanted a little extra pop/specialness and have something that stands out... so orange works for me.
