that's not a long beach blue color....looks like the blue of the brake calipers not the exterior color...sadly it's not what I expected so it's a no go for me..

what I am mainly thinking about is that since the red one will be included in the competition m2, I do not want to be one of those guys that retrofit everything from a better/newer model and insult my car

I will feel like those pathetic dudes that stick an ///M badge on an e36 318

I was hoping that it was just the picture making the color look darker than it actually is.That is why I asked him if the color was LBB.I agree with you,if the color isn’t LBB that I won’t be ordering one.

I think the color looks great. Unfortunately Santa has already bought me the red button.

Pity it's such a dark shade of blue. It doesn't match anything in the car.

If this were polar blue (to match the interior stitching) i'd snag one.

The blue color is not matching anything in the car... Can you look into this that it does?

It is way darker than the 12 o'clock stripe, the stichting or even the LBB exterior color. Getting the color right cannot be that hard.

If so, I will ship a whole bunch to Europe for customers here.

Appreciate the effort to get this far but sounds like the listening/conversation broke down somewhere in the chain. This is not a nice blue and IMO, looks crap. Get it LBB and you will sell a boat load.

Maybe some pics of it near the stitching, LBB paint, calipers would help people decide whether they'd like to give it a go.

Seems like they likely went through a lot of effort to get this made (and it's unique: you can get the red from a ton of places) because of so many requests.

I hope some try it out to see what it looks like on a client car. It's likely one of the cheaper things you'll buy to change the look of your car.

Gotta echo the guys above here Mike. I realize that you were trying to bring the consumers what they wanted, but looking back seems the vast majority were looking for a shade of blue that matched the exterior...myself included. A niche product for sure and perhaps not worth the effort to nail down the exact colour, who knows. I did grab a red button from you anyway, and at $30 or whatever it was, I would've probably grabbed a blue one also had it been the "right" blue.

I hear you guys and i tried my best to get a lighter blue, unfortunately it does not look like it will be an option anytime soon.

Looks like it may be a close match to the brake calipers and IMO would still offer some nice synergy if so.

Agree.

Whether you go with red or blue, either one will look much better than the stock black start button

In a perfect world, I'd want a blue that matches the Polar Blue stitching rather than the exterior of the car.

Do you guys have these produced in China somewhere? I doubt this is an OE BMW part?
