New Version of M laptimer with GoPro integration

BMW announced an update to the Mlaptimer app which integrates the GoPro app. So far I cannot find out if it has actually been release. The new integration overlays the video with the mlaptimer map/data.

For some reasons the M laptimer app does not show up in the connected app list, any idea why? (I am able to see Yelp, Wikipedia and a few more but not the one I need)

Does anyone know how to connect a GoPro through the new M Laptimer app in the car?

I saw a video on Youtube where the GoPro marketing dude hooked up his iPhone and opened the GoPro app on it, as soon as he plugged it in a BMW logo appeared on the screen and it synced fine.

I've tried plugging my iPhone in, with a GoPro Hero Session connected to the app through it's wifi signal.

I just get an error on the iDrive screen saying there is no camera connected.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I think they got rid of the GoPro ability, which is a huge letdown.

Found the solution to my problem. When going to my phone options, the "apps" option was not on. Once activated the M Laptimer show up.

I found that I have to disconnect my phone since it an apple carplay device. Then connect my phone but not as apple CarPlay device. Then when I start iDrive connected apps the m Laptimer app is there. Now if only I can get the GoPro video attached to the actual laps. That next task to figure out.

Is it still possible to have Spotify playing at the same time the Laptimer is recording or not ?

Seems not working
