Anyone know if u can source a replacement emblem for the steering wheel. Real oem indicates it is only supplied with the airbag

I don't have the right hardware to do it for you but if you (or the other guy lol) have an electronic measurement device or something similar which gives you all the correct dimensions you can use these measurements and order an emblem based on them (what I've done when I had a BRZ using a friends tool)
Hope it helps

I will check with a caliper but my concern is I don't know if it is just double sided taped on and if the new emblem will have the same curvature for the face

It is part of the airbag and has prongs that hold it in place, it can not just be pulled off. There are complete emblem overlays that attach with double sided tape. The overlays are domed so that they match the contour of the OEM emblem. You can probably find them on ebay.

I'm guessing that just sticking an emblem on an airbag would be a Bad Thing should the bag ever deploy?
