I am heading to Pitt Race in couple of weeks with PCA. First time on that track for me and looking for words of wisdom from the home crowd.

Thanks, Peter

Track is surprisingly hard on tires and brakes. Make sure you have plenty of pad, make sure you rotate tires often. I corded a left rear on my GT3 much sooner than I expected.

One of my favorite tracks, the new layout is fantastic, technical and challenging.

He lives!

+1. Pretty darn hard on brakes if you're pushing. Have spare front pads or one very good condition set on the car.

The esses feel slow no matter what (to me) and be careful at the kink on the back straight, not worth the risk. The mini-laguna is a blast and one of my favorites sections on the track. Facility is great, ran by some proper ownership.

Now that I've lived to tell about it, have to agree that the layout doesn't give neither the brakes, nor tires a break. Brakes felt good for about 10 minutes, then started going soft. Tires started to grease up 12-15 mins into the session, but that was able to be managed by coming into the pits and bleed some air out. Great technical track that takes a bit longer than others to learn.

Just remember to be safe and have fun man, dont get too caught up on track times. Keep an eye on tire levels, break wear, and oil temps. other than that have fun!
