Brixton Forged Wheels Ruined by Brake Dust?

Not sure what's going on... I dropped the car off to have the wheels ceramic coated and my detailer called me almost immediately to tell me that this brake dust is NOT coming off at all. Looking at the pics he sent me, it doesn't look too pretty... Is this normal for BMW brake dust? What do y'all recommend I do to get this fixed?

It's only the barrel that's damaged?

I cleaned the inside of my 437's recently and encountered some tough brake dust like this. I used chrome wheel cleaner and a magic eraser and it came off.

Usually wheel manufacturers have a warranty against finish for a number of years, so if you're still within the window I would check with them.

BMW is legendary for horrible, pitting brake dust, but I wouldn't know since I clean the barrels every time I clean my wheels. My guess is that a bit of compound would bring these back pretty good...unless you have never cleaned the barrels...and the dust has been on there for some real time.

Sorry my friend that looks like poor quality paint inside the barrels I'm not sure what you paid for those wheels but they don't look to be very high-quality

What pads are you using..... Mine is 10x worse than yours, but that's because I'm running race pads on the street.
