If the M2C or M2CS has/had the same suspension setup as the M4 ZHP, then struts towers and spring are already forged aluminum, it's actually lighter than the base static suspension..

To each it's own..

After all the different suspensions I've had on my cars the Ohlins is the best street/track setup. I still can't believe how well they manage a stiff spring setup on the street...
My Time trial days are long gone so an Ohlins is in my future..probalblly next Spg for sure....What spg rates are you running on yours?
The standard springs that come with the F87 kit. I run 15 clicks for the street, and haven't had the car to the track yet (plan to this year), but will likely start by dialing to 5 clicks and go from there.

I wish they left out the steering settings. Find sport+ terrible, and no diff between sport and comfort. I bet it doesn't add much weight or complexity though... I have a manual, and am comfortable admitting I really like rev match. Yes, been driving manual my whole life and know how to heel toe. But I am probably not that good at it, or else I would probably not like rev match. That being said, if you are quick you can manually override the auto rev match.

You don't feel a difference between comfort and sport for steering? That's surprising to me. In our F80, you can't feel the difference when driving in aa straight line or make some medium speed turns. But at low speeds or during very aggressive and at the limit driving there is a noticeable difference. Granted I've only test driving the M2C twice, but I thought I felt the same on it.

Obviously not saying you are wrong or crazy, just interesting how some people experience these cars so differently.

Not to discount E21's experiences, but I find comfort mode steering to be perfect...for parking lots. It's a bit twitchy at speed compared to sport. When I was on my winter wheels and tires, it was twitchy enough to be a bit scary.

I prefer comfort but I'm over my days of heavy ass steering that gives me a full blown workout
