It has never been a "competition pack" but rather the "M2 Competition" intended to replace the current N55 M2. The fact that this has to be explained time and time again proves BMW's naming structure in this case is confusing and absurd.

thanks. I wouldn't be surprised for all the VIN sheets to come out with B5830T0 instead of S55 ( as a place holder ) at some point.. anything can change.

my 1M has " M mirrors" and it is one of the highest Coefficients of drag for modern BMWs. it's about as aerodynamic as a brick.. but its got those cool DUMBO (oops " M mirrors )

So.. I am confident that BMW is CORRECT.. that " M Mirrors" will likely INCREASE drag, making the M2 SLOWER.
