Hi Atlas, so I drove to work this morning - when I rear parked the car and disengaged R, both camera & beep stopped immediately.
ps. I do have that parking switch installed, so not sure if it has anything to do with it.

Funnily enough I went and tried the same again and had the same result. Maybe I was imagining it last time!

My car went into the dealership for an unrelated problem, they upgraded the software on my car - the reverse camera + beep now disengages immediately when I put it back into D from R.

No doubt that'll be the later version of the car firmware removing that annoyance What firmware is showing on your car now...? Mine (an LCI / Week 34 build) shows NBTevo_L172521 - I'm curious as to whether there have been AU-applicable updates.

A side issue, I spoke to BMW earlier this week and they told me that the LCI Cluster Firmware issue that's being discussed elsewhere is not applicable for my car. Maybe that could be helpful for other AU LCI owners...?
