i like the 135i with the exception of the front headlights...but you're right, its nothing compared to the m3. but it definitely wins in the reflector department.

I like both of them. I wish the M3 would have just made the corner triangle of the headlight the reflector and left off the eyesore. I don't understand why they didn't do this actually. If you could get a 135i in the US without a @#%$* moonroof I might want to add one of those later as well. M1 anyone?

I know this a M3 board but I have to say, despite being next to a M3, the 1-series looking extremely good.
Make M-version of it and I'm pretty sure I would pick it over the M3. |

The 1 series looks like the retarded child of the mother that also gave birth to the M3.

the m1 also had a mid mounted engine and was more of a supercar of sorts...
now if bmw made the tii, i would get that over the m3, but that's not happening so looks like '10 m3 |

you sound pretty sure of that...there has been a lot of talk whether an M car based on an 135i would be call an M1 or not. some say that the original M1 was a long time ago and that if it were recreated it would take the name M10 (which has been reserved by BMW already). i wouldn't be surprised if they called it an M1, but i think that the whole Tii is a better avenue for BMW to go down with the new 1 series.
