Production will be less limited is a plus for those who wanted a 1M and missed out but a minus for those who think the M2 might depreciate/appreciate like the 1M. Also, those definitely look like LED headlights. I wonder if they will touch the kidneys ?

Didn't think LED would be an option so excited to see that it will be! Special M seats is a nice touch too. Carbon roof will would complete the package on the M2 with the M-DCT for me |

This is getting exciting now to drive the m235i for a little bit before I make the jump to the M2 as long as it lives up to the expectations in which it's looking like it will

In AUD USD$43,100 would be AUD$48,893 (even including a $0.06 drop in exchange rates last month. Instead we fork over nearly $100,000 to drive one away |

So yea, it's a lot of money, but I'm willing to bite the bullet because that's something I'll have to see every time I walk up to the car.

Please let the LED-headlights get LED turn signals. Same for the tail lights. Even Mercedes-Benz Vito/Vaneo has FULL LED head and tails.. Cīmon BMW.

I'm very excited for this car, I'm thinking (and hoping) price with destination for the US is around 52-53 (9-10k difference with the m235i and 9-10k difference with the M3) 370 bhp sounds about right too (hopefully 380) that gives also a good 55-45 bhp with the M3 and 50-60 bhp difference with the m235i. carbon fiber roof and special seats yes please I really don't care about full leather or individual interior colors. If the car is 53k special seats (can be cloth) cf roof, manual transmission, 19 inch wheels (probably extra), LSD, firm suspension, and a good variety of colors im sold even if I end up paying 55-56 for 19 inch wheels and individual colors (not likely but it would be nice).

Lots of good news there - thanks for sharing.
Has there been any more info on the possibility of a GTS/CSL/Competition model to come a year or two after initial release? If so, I will PRAY that it will come to the U.S...

Having driven both M135i & M235i (and 1M), I have a slight preference for the future M1
M2 will be a blast to drive on the track, but M1 (or M140i) would be the more practical, daily drivable car. |
