I dunno about those huge front grill. But the render itself is great. Thanks!

Awesome work, thanks for taking the time to do all of this! This thread has me all excited to see the real thing in a few weeks.

That LSB version you did though...

Thanks for the effort but that paint has metallic in it.LSB is a flat paint.Your pic looks more like Estoril Blue.

Nice work, yet again, Paul!

Confirms my suspicion that the new grille will look better when it is not completely blacked out.

I still don't love it, but I can live with it like this. Unfortunately, I am only critiquing for the sake of critiquing at this point, because BMW lost me as a potential customer when they decided to stuff the S55 in it and abandoned the "L" in the originally rumored "CSL" plans. Oh well, my m240i still makes me happy and now I don't have to blow another $30k to upgrade.

I agree. Definitely not accurate of LSB. Looks more like Long Beach Blue to me, actually.

Definitely need some separation between halves of the grill. The all black version doesn’t cut it. Love the HKS render.

That's the new BMW grill for better or for worse...

I've flatten the paint as much as possible. I think this is close to LSB...

Woah that is mindblowing. Do late model M3/4 have this addressed? If you live somewhere like I do this is a huge risk. Not good news for the M2 Comp.

I believe this was addressed on the M3/M4. Someone else needs to chime in on this.

I don't believe it will be an issue on the M2 Comp.

I'd say I was pretty close ;-). The thing that bothers me about these BMW press images is that they are so heavily photoshopped that they look more fake than my renders...
