So I am in the order bank for a LBB M2 and based on the photos and having seen the LBB M2 in person back in January I was sure that was the color to go with but tonight I went by Tucson BMW and took a look at their BSM M2 and now I am not so sure LBB is for me. Both are great colors so I cannot get this one wrong but life was easier before I had another option. Also sitting in the M2 made me lust for it big time. Tucson BMW added a bunch of M Performance parts and want a 5k market adjustment so I will just wait my turn with BMW of San Diego.

BTW this is their HEA car, they offered it to me for 10k over MSRP back in late January and have since lowered their demand to 5k over MSRP with some expensive M Performance stuff that I don't want but I was happy to see nobody bit at 10k over. I want a car bad but I won't hand these guys extra cash for doing nothing. For those curious Tucson doesn't have a list and currently have no allocations. The manager told me they are not planning on budging on the markup but we will see if they change their tune in a few weeks. I suspect this dealer doesn't do much discounting because they have several M4's that have been on their lot since January.

When did BMW of SD get their act together and start taking orders? Supposedly they put me on their contact list but I never heard "boo" from them, so I went with David.

Can't go wrong with either color, both look great, hell all 4 colors look great!

I didn't go with BSM because i want to add M parts and there is no contrast, plus i didn't want a second full-time job keeping it clean

Not sure I would say their act is together but they have taken deposits for the first 12 on the list, and put their orders in the order bank they say they will get 12 cars during 2016. I am number 10 or 11 (one guy was likely dropping out) so I am guessing I will get my car late this year (if I am lucky).

BSM is the bomb....going all black stealth style looks BOSS!! But I'll say something about the LBB, about 10 people have seen it and they all said the same thing. It's alot better in person.

My LBB manual from BMWSD is on a ship and scheduled to arrive at the dealership at the end of the month. I think I may be the first to take delivery.

I am on the fence too to switch from LBB to BSM.

Apparently, BMW AG has some issues producing LBB (high demand!?! Anyone can confirm?) and I might go with BSM to accelerate the process.

I went BSM because whenever I choose anything else other than black, I enjoy the "WOW" factor when new then it wears off and wish I had gone black and end up selling the thing. If I bought my e92 m3 in black, I would still have had it

Talked with those guys about a month back. Would not budge on the 5k premium when I was stuck on BSM. Told them I would pay for the M parts, which was like 5k extra, but not 5k markup, not a penny more. I would even pay for shipping. They still have not sold it, which is no surprise.

I finally secured a LBB at MSRP. Got some M goodies as well.

Mine is lbb and I love it, but the black looks great. What it comes down to for me is how much more the black shows the dirt. I cant wait to see someone do a full matte xpel wrap on the black because that would look amazing. It looked better on the blue than I expected.

Can I ask what your situation is? Ordering from BMWSD? (When I got on the interest list, no list existed at the time.)

I signed an order agreement in Jan, put a deposit down and was told I was first on the list. The purchase order even indicates as much.
