Look at other colors in the first post, none of them has the problem that HS has (except for the Lime Rock Gray). Ok maybe this isn't really a problem, maybe it's just the character of this specific color but at least it looks like a bad paint job. This can be seen especially in the unedited pics of HS:
That M2 in that picture has the factory shipping protection on the hood. There is no way that difference would make it out of any BMW production facility.
Yes, I already know that. Look at the difference between the bumper and fender.
Wow I had never noticed it till now but you're absolutely correct! There's definitely a subtle difference! Maybe it has to do with the angle of light reflection on different curvatures?

It should match better. Even my local body shop matched the Melbourne Red on my 2015 M235i better than that.

I had such a good time on Sunday. Hit 152mph in the m5 and could have easily got to 160 but I let off to coast before the hard braking. Also ran a 16.1 in the auto X but went over the box by a foot. the fastest of the day was a 16.4.

I had never done auto X, so that whole stopping thing was new. But I actually enjoyed that more than driving on the track. M5 wad pretty numb and it does everything for you. I had a Blast but the car is just TOO good.

Autocross was definitely fun, just wish the course was longer. Such a tease with a short course and also 2 attempts at the course with no practice is lame.

track day at The Ridge Motorsports Park (outside Seattle)

Hi all,
Anyone interested in a half day M track day event at Ridge Motorsports Park outside Seattle?

I have a reservation and cant make it. Happy to transfer reservation to someone that wants to go. I'll even knock off $50 bucks. so it will be just $200.

...and its a sunny day! When do we have these in the PNW around Oct?
