Very nice. Very good car control.

So let me ask. At 7:50.1 you unclench your butt cheeks and took your first breath in 7:50 minutes. Ha haaaa That's what I do after a track session. Lol. I remember years ago when I first started track day events when I had an instructor he would tap my hands when finally on the straightaway and he would say over the intercom. Ok breath and let go of the death grip of the wheel. Lol. It's a good piece of instruction that I remember every event years later.

Well done.

Curious if you've tried a game called ProjectCARS or Assetto Corsa with a force feedback steering wheel? I play ProjectCARS with a T300RS wheel, and I really enjoy it. It's well short of the real thing, but boy is it cheaper than tires, brakes, and shunts

I could definitely see the increase in pace once you passed karussell. You even went for the curb hop at the transition between hedwigshöhe and wippermann.

They have the KTM X-BOW in ProjectCARS. You should check it out. I've put in many, many laps around the Nordschleife. Obviously it's not the real thing, but it's given me a whole new appreciation for videos like these

Maybe the complaints about brake dust over the years caused them to go with a weaker pad compound ?

Any stock M brake will be (very)weak to being pulverized on trackdays depending on how you use ore abuse them on trackdays. I had it with E46 M3/E90 M3(the fronts were about to be on fire) and 1M...Always different pads is the way to go, but the M2 brakes are definitely not the weakest stock brakes, that cup goes to E90 M3...

BMW //M probably just listened (after years and years)and put trackpads on.

This was during the tourist rides where you don't need a helmet

It was actually not the plan to do a lap but if you are at the Green Hell with an M2, your feet are starting to itch very badly and you simply have to do a lap

Thanks!

Well I think it's better to also breath in the corners Because it can be difficult to drive for 7 minutes without oxygen

I tried Assetto Corsa once but I didn't liked it that much When I was little I used to play every day on Gran Turismo

Now as a racing driver I only practice on realistic 'and very expensive' simulators. For example iRacing with a Fanatec steer and pedals is already very realistic but the best 'motion' simulators use a modified version of rFactor.

And indeed it's a lot cheaper than actually go real racing and you have a restart button if you fuck up

Not ideal to use a lot of curbs with your street car

Really?? Will try it for sure!

About racing sims:
I played Grand Prix Legends back then but actually don't like iRacing because of the way it simulates transitional oversteer when driving grip/slip. Not my cup of tea.

I'm kind of a drifter(also irl) so I got rid of iRacing after playing it for about 2 years... tried it again last year but I prefer Assetto Corsa because of the physics(streetcars and older racing cars) and drifting. 1M feels just like the real thing...Also a fan of RBR and LFS. PRoject Cars I tried, but I'm sticking with AC and LFS ....

But each to their own

Cheers
Robin
