Winter set up ideas/suggestions for M2C
Hello everyone. Since the new brakes on the M2C allow for 19" wheels only, what would be a good set of inexpensive wheels and tires for winter, that works with the M2C?
Also square set up or staggered? What tire sizes? I am in Germany and have a pretty long winter and mandatory laws for tires during the winter time. Or is it just better to keep the M2C in the garage and drive a beater for the winter? I don't really want to pay for a car to sit in a garage.

19x9 245/35/19 all around is not a bad option. I suggest that because there are very few options in the stock rear size of 265/35/19, and they are older tires. If you have a 9.5" wheel you can run 255 in the rear without being too stretched.
I would go with the Michelin PA4, although it seems that there are newer winter tires available in Europe that are not in North America. There is now an Alpin 5 (lacks Pilot designation though) and the brand new Continental TS-860-S might be the best if you can find them. It is not a cheap setup, but if I got an M2C I would run 4x front 437M wheels (9" ET29). The offset, after correcting for wheel width, is only 2mm more tucked than the stock rear wheel, so it'll look identical. Now you have 4 good looking, forged, lightweight winter wheels.
