Adding road sign driver information possible?

I got my car in September and really regret not adding the speed limit recognition option. Will BMW code it in for me if I take it to them?

I opted for the shadeband which greys out the option for the speed limit recognition - however, it doesn't look like it affects the cameras on the windscreen.

I've seen you can do it online but I'm hesitant to do anything that could potentially affect the warranty.

They probably won't code as it requires a fsc for it. I've never heard of dealers selling fsc codes.

There's a lot of third party that's willing to sell the fsc code and walk you through coding though. I don't know if it'll void the warranty but there's a chance it could get wiped if the dealer does a full reset

I looked into this before my purchase - as they only had non speed limit info cars available on the lot and I knew I wanted the feature. My conclusion was it's possible but going to be a massive PITA as you need the fsc (as mentioned above). Probably not worth it..
