Experienced some speed. Just under 160mpy according to GPS. Went pedal to the floor down the longest straight at Nordschleife. The first corner after the straight is at over 150mph.

During Touristenfahrten the straight is closed to through traffic, and you must pit and exit. During track days the straight is open to traffic, and many Porsche/McLaren/Ferrari cars hit close to 190 on it. This way you can do complete Nordschleife lap times in addition to BTG timing.

If you're cooling down you stay right and pit, then re-enter for safety reasons. Some people stay in the middle to cool off, but that is usually not allowed. Don't want to go 3 wide into the left-hander under the bridge.

A few more pictures of this beautiful Remus exhaust. This really is a very well made piece of equipment. Extremely pleased with the way it looks and the build quality.

Installed this Black Forest Industries weighted shift knob. Disappointingly it's slightly lighter than the stock knob. The quality is superb and the color is just what I wanted. It matches my IND start button perfectly. I finagled the stock boot for now, BFI makes boots to go with these knobs, I've got a black leather one on the way. Also, a little too high for me. Might chop the selector shaft down some.

I gave her a clean all sills and quick and ready engine bay clean. Installed OE Floating caps for that douchy look.
Installed correct M3/4 seals in engine bay.

A) You still have CDs?
B) You didn't remove the CDs from the sun visor before hitting the track?

Did the Etons in the front. Was a little nervous about ordering straight from Germany on eBay so I only ordered the fronts. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived in 3 days. Think I'm going to order the center and rears from them to put in for next weekends fun time Covid project.

Went in smooth. First door took maybe 15min and second door seemed way faster. This was after I watched a bunch diys beforehand. Like them so far but still doing break in with them. Weird cause it sounds like I don't having any rear speakers anymore lol. Plus I didn't realize how puny those stock magnets are.

Had some other fun things to install but was getting hot and my post install test drive was longer then expected.

Finally got to install my Turner Carbon corner braces and the gold reflective tape for the Turner Carbon Intake.

I had originally ordered these back in early July and they only sent me the driver side in the box (I was pissed off). Then, they told me they couldn't find the other one and it would be September 15th before they could get anymore. Well, to my surprise they got it done early and it got here last week!! Turner's customer service has been great during all of this, though their quality control and shipping department could use some work.

My Carbon Intake came with the first order, but the reflective tape was printed upside down, so they had to send me another one. I also had to dremel out the bottom hole on the passenger side brace some to make it fit, but you can't even see it.

Correct on all 3 accounts.

You should also see the vinyl rack I have installed in the back seat. It fits perfectly over the cassette shelf.

Looks so much better anyway. Archaic BMW still use them. Again my VW model year 2010 had not a hint of orange in the front.

These look really cool but must have cost a bit? Weren't you tempted by M3/4 retrofit.

It reinforces where it matters more, between the strut towers. Tbh I think endlessly bracing the very front of the car seems a bit futile?
