M3(4) have always that type of stagger:

F8X 255/35 275/35
E9X 245/35 265/35
E46 225/35 255/35
...

Nope. With 265/30, the overall diameter of the rear wheels is smaller than the front 245/35. The opposite looks nicer.

That 3rd picture is looking great.

So no mini vents at the outer edges of the lights. Looking really nice and wide, very good. Fangs revealed, not much else to come then really now, M Mirrors. Some surprises at the reveal??

I stillthink this will happen. I mean come on BMW has been proud of its CFRP production and excellent and its ALL about light weight these days.

Not long to see if it does though.

They probably would have included it on the production spec M2 that was shown privately at Frankfurt if that is the case... And they didn't.

Per Scott, the camo will continue to lighten and the production parts will show (see other thread with the white M2 running M mirrors) up until the reveal. Still scheduled for next week, right?

Looks like the standard brakes on the M3/M4. 4 Piston fixed calipers up front, 2 piston fixed calipers in rear.

The size of the front tire is the same as the E92, 245 /35 / 19. I am guessing the rears will follow suit and will be 265 / 35 / 19.

By black rims, I though all posts were suggesting the M2 wheels would be ALL black. And these black 437 --like those on the M3-- are a welcome surprise. I like to see that bit of machined face.

Honestly, this car looks A+. Thank you to the OP and his sources for these great pictures.

The car looks fantastic. But, I'm holding out for a more extreme variant. I really hope I'm not being stubborn. Because this car will be very dope.

You could easy put on a set of 18s, and with a nice drop, it'll look quite nice still. Very hard to do that on the M3/4 as they make any wheel look smaller than they really are.

P.S. From that angle, the M2 needs a spoiler so bad haha
Yeah that's a really good point, the wheels look correct vs the M235i looking a little on the small side.

There's 0 reason to run 20" wheels on this car IMHO. While it looks good on the M3/4, I'd never run wheels that big.

I might get flamed for such comments but it will be interesting to see how the ride goes with the M2. (Obviously it will be great)

I mention this as I had an M235i and from picking it up it had a lot of M Perf goodies on it, including the 19 inch M Perf wheels. The ride in sport was way too harsh on 30 profile tyres BUT they were Pirelli PZero RFT which due to this experience I will never have again. Hoping (and certain) that the 19 inch MPSS on the M2 despite the 30 profile will be better feeling.

Riding exact same potholes/roads near work and the MPSS and higher profile of the M4 was a welcome change. Really I'm sure it was the RFTs.

Oh yes, completely different. My E92 rides on 30 profile rear tires (MPSS) and they are fine. I don't expect the M2 to ride like a Rolls Royce, but definitely better than your old M235i for sure. 19" RFT's feel like rocks.

Ah OK interesting, why the heck the crucifying tyres on M Perf wheels on the M235ii.

Appreciate that snippet.
