Same. Throttle tends to be sensitive on low gears and when cold.

Then maybe it's not just a DCT issue? I have this as well in first gear.

Yeah, the engine is a bit weird at cold temps. Not really sure how else to put it. Sometimes it bogs down then surges forward. Always goes away once at temp.
I really notice it when I leave my house. I live on a busy street that has a blind corner. I don’t always have the luxury of slowly entering traffic if someone is hurling down the curve at 50 mph. That’s when I really feel it at about half throttle it seems to bog, then the car seems to wake up and rockets forward. After which is kind of goes back to bogging down. I’m assuming it’s the ECU trying to warm everything up. |

I posted the same thing right after I got mine, and when it was still warm outside. I had them look at it at the dealer when I got my Winters, and they said nothing was wrong. I'm use to it now, but it's definitely different than the N55 engine I had in my 235 in that regard.

Is surging when the car doesn't accelerate smoothly? If so, then I too experience this every so often...around the 3k rpm range.

This confirms my theory . You are never the only one with the problem when it comes to cars.. Contrary to a dealer that says "never seen that before" or 'they all do that". either way they have an out. It goes into the "that's showbiz " category.
My gut is there is no solution. It just is what it is ?carl |

Yes. Mine does it when it sits all day at work, regardless of outside temperature. It goes away after driving 1-2 minutes, and letting it set for 20-30 seconds after starting has no bearing on it.

Mine does it too, 6MT. It still happens even if I warm up the engine for 5-10 minutes, so that suggests to me that it's the transmission or diff, and not the throttle.
