2021 F1 onwards

With Vettel seemingly in his last season for the reds who may even be replaced mid season if Ferrari decide the rivalry is plaguing the team or bad luck continues and then possibly Giovinazzi being put in with Vet riding out the remainder of time at Alfa.I think it's more desperate in Ferrari than they make out though they wear it well.
Max has already hinted that he won't partner Leclerc (who is talking over a deal to '24) and may well remain with RB with the possibility of Hamilton coming over to Ferrari in '21 with no opposition from Wolff and Merc seat free for Ocon though Hamilton could remain with Merc after all.
Personally I don't think he will move despite the phone calls and interest lately that he hasn't shown before.
In that case I'd be a little surprised if Mick S was brought straight into Ferrari instead of being trialed at Alfa.
Kimi? Who knows, so that leaves Giovi partnering Lec for '21 then getting shunted back to Alfa but you never know Ferrari

This is just one mans opinion.....

Not sure Giovinazzi is a smart move. They should go after a proven performer to team with Charles.

I am pretty sure Mick is gonna have a tuff time in F!. He's there because of his heritage, and that's not gonna help him once he gets into the car.

Giovinazzi would only be there until Mick moves up IF Hamilton doesn't switch teams.I'm going by the drivers from the Ferrari Academy.
Then a comparison will be made if Mick can take over in '22 or even in '21 if he learns quick like for instance as Norris has. If Giovi should perform superbly then Ferrari will be spoilt for choice.

Ok, let's try this another way.

Kimi scored 3 times as many points as Antonio did..... he's the person to move to Ferrari to support Charles. He's faster, and he's already shown he is comfortable taking team orders.

Mick is the sentimental favorite to succeed in F1...... but that's not gonna give him any wins.

I would be surprised to see him do well in F1.

I don't know if they would have Kimi back again and Giovi would only get faster given the Ferrari.

He would have no choice given the order but really if Chas and Seb play ball of course it won't happen..they'll see it only as a last resort and if it did where else would Seb go.

There are already rumors of Hamilton going to Ferrari (along with Toto to help ease some transition, not sure how that would work).

I also wouldn't be surprised if Max jumps to Mercedes if the Honda doesn't curb his will to win sufficiently.

I don't doubt he could be axed, as much as I'd like to see him make a comeback, but I just can't see him dropping to Alfa.

If Red Bull Honda isn't competitive in 2020 to fight for the world title . You will see in 2021 a Merc with the number 33 !

Will not/never happen . SEB would rather quit and make his move to Formula-E .

I just can't see Hamilton going to Ferrari, or any other team for that matter.

He will have another 3, maybe 4 years left in F1 by then, and will have to adapt to a team and culture that is totally foreign to him. Charles at that stage, will feel right at home, and will not make it easy for Hamilton. Surely that will only mean more friction between them, than what was the case this year at Ferrari.

No, I see him at Merc, and retiring in 3 to 4 years there.

As for who to get as a team mate to Charles, I have no idea. Giovinazzi hasn't shown any potential at all these 2 years, and I think Mick just hasn't got what it take. Someone from outside the Ferrari camp then, maybe Ocon, Sainz or Norris.......

A test for Giovi in a Ferrari like Mick had would determine to a point how he would perform in one.The Alfa is a poor comparison and I think someone like Ocon is tied to Merc.

I feel like it's a pretty common dream or goal among F1 drivers (or really any racing driver) to one day get a World Championship in a Ferrari. It's just one of those things.

Alfa in big troubles !

Alfa failed in Milan for the FIA 2020 mandatory crash tests.
The new Alfa chassis (C39) was/is completely destroyed...

It will hold them up 3 maybe 4 weeks though they have some time on their hands but they better make the second one well or indeed they will be stumped.
