275/35/19 Square?
This is more of a suspension and track-day question than a Wheel / Tire thread question.
I'd like to run a 275 square setup up and RS4's (great all-around 200TW tire) come in 275/35/19. Does anyone run this kind of setup? I know it's a pretty tight fit just tossing on 265/35/19 on stock wheels and suspension. I plan on running Ohlins with front GC camber plates. (I've also considered 265/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear as an option if a big square option won't work)

I had a set of square 275/35r19 Nexen SUR4 mounted on 19x9et35 wheels from my previous car that I hoped to run on the M2 when I first got it. Lots of rubbing on the test fit.
Lots of rubbing on both the front and rear of the fended liner on the front axle. (Photos are with 12mm spacers, so ET23 equivalent) You’ll need a shorter tire most likely. |

Why not use a heat gun and press in the fender liner?

This was a year and a half ago, when the car didn’t even have its break in miles. Wasn’t ready to start modifying anything.
If it were just the aft part of the fender liner, I might now. But not sure I want to mess with the liner ahead of the wheel opening with the coolers sitting there. I might take another look, but I recall the, being fairly close to the liner. |
