DIY Caliper replacement

Hi All I just purchased a set of 2NH red calipers from a CS and want to replace the silver ones that came with my 21 M2C. I will also be replacing the brake lines and was wondering if anyone has done a video of the process start to finish including a flush of the fluid? Also which brake fluid would you recommend?

Between the videos below, you should have everything to guide you (torque for brake hoses on calipers is 24Nm/17.7ft-lbs). Use the AP racing one for prep and hose disconnecting, and then basic bleeding, second video for pads/rotors/calipers installation/removal, and final video for ISTA DSC bleed if you need it (I definitely recommend pushing on the brake pedal to cycle it while pressure bleeding).

Why didn't you just paint the calipers? Very expensive to replace the complete calipers .

To paint them would require me to remove the existing ones and leave my car on jackstands while waiting for the calipers to be powdercoated. This way I can do the job in a day and sell the silver calipers for close if not more then what I paid for the red ones.

Those vids posted are great.. however, was I the only one that cringed when I saw him install the lug nuts directly w/ the impact gun?

I've always been taught to hand screw lugs nuts first, then use an impact gun. It's extremely easy to strip those lugs if you misalign them.

You guys aren't the first to say that.

With my impacts if I give a partial trigger pull it produces really low torque and it's VERY easy to feel whether any binding/cross threading is happening. Once I've gone a few turns in there and know it's not crossed I let it go full power.

Why would you replace the lines? It should be a straight swap...
