LED turn signal strips causing hyperflash

I purchased the hex halo rings and switchback eyebrow from bavgruppe, along with demon eyes. They sent me all the harnesses required. I’m having a local shop do the install for me. They’ve successfully installed the halos and eyebrows. The shop also went ahead and deleted my stock Amber halogen bulb, built a small “wall” there to place two LED strips as a turn signal. These LED strips are also switchback so they match the switchback eyebrow. The only problem is that the LED strips hyper blink. He’s using resistors but that’s not solving anything. Any thoughts on this?

resistors won't work. I think you need to code your car to LED turn signals using bimmercode and then you should be ok.

Is this something you've heard of before? If so, is Carly capable of this or would he have to use bimmercode?

I don't know about Carly since I don't use it but BimmerCode can change from "Bulb" to "LED"

See https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...eplacement.htm

Bimmercode allows you to code the type of lamp to LED, which eliminates the hyperflashing issue.

Hey sorry for the late reply, just saw this.
They’re from bavgruppedesign.com except for the two LED strips on the side used as running lamp and turn signals. Those I got from the shop where I got them installed.

It is the OEM housing but the side where the turn signal bulb is located was completely removed so that a painted black glass could be fitted in there in order to install the LED strips on it. The housing was painted black as well since I wasn’t a fan of the chrome/silver housing.
