Recent Allocations (January 2020)
I've put an order in with my dealer, but I'm awaiting an allocation. Has anyone recently gone through this process or received a new allocation here in the last few weeks? I'm curious if those are slowing down.

I just picked one last week, there are so many brand new one sitting at the dealerships.
Sense the car doesn't have much on options, I am sure you can find one in no time.

I found one at a dealer quite a ways from my location, but it has been sitting there for almost 200 days for whatever reason. I'm not sure what a car that's been sitting that long at the dealer has gone through or had done (test drives, etc). I think it has a few hundred miles on it as well. I'd rather wait on my allocation, but I'm trying to find out if anyone else has gotten one recently (an allocation I mean).

I thought about it. Guy emailed me and knocked some money off, I told him I 'm working with my local dealer. He emailed me back, took more off and said he'd ship it to me free. Part of me wants to keep working with my local folks, as they've been great and have ordered this one for me. If they keep not getting an allocation I might tell them I'm thinking of going after this one...who knows maybe they will sweeten their deal.
The one that's far away has like 300 miles on it, but it's the exact build I think with the exception of the wheel color. |

That's been my main concern with that one. Don't know what's happened with it or to it during those miles. I would have to see a significant reduction to make it worth while.

There is plenty people that like to rip on it to see how is pulling and that's not good on new car specially when is not warmed up Be patient and find the one that has not been driven at all. Mine had only 5 mil, picture taken after driving.

For some reason I could never get a car below 10mil. That is to get a car under 10 mil. |

I think I got mine with 7 or 9 miles on it. Bought before delivery. Super lucky I got one on its way already that hadn't been accounted for!

All my BMWs had 6 miles when I got them. Which pretty much means no one touched them besides for loading/unloading

Can confirm. I totally ripped on a DCT M2C to decide if I wanted one.

About a week. I ordered on Jan 1st and they called me on the 8th to say they got an allocation and to confirm the build. I don't know if that was luck or if that dealership gets M2 allocations frequently.

If you are going to lease the car and give it back in 3 years then who cares how it's been driven in 300 miles. If you are thinking that the car is a keeper and you treat it like your first born child then just wait for a car that's not been "tested".
