Converting from OEM gloss black to carbon trim

Hi,

Wasn't able to find a thread about that, sorry if it does exist.
I have an gloss black interior and I'm looking into switching to the carbon one using OEM parts.

Do I get it right that I basically need the following 3 pieces:

1. Central cover (vents) 51 45 8 073 751
2. Door handles, left: 51 41 8 063 043, and right: 51 41 8 063 044
3. Cover near the shift knob (where the idrive buttons are): 51 16 8 065 423 (cats also mention part number 51 16 8 088 622 which I guess is the old number for the same part?)

Additionally:
4. M Performance shift knob and hand brake: 51952464126

Does that seem correct?

It's very similar to the one on the attached pic, except that mine is DCT and blue stitch instead of orange (should not be related to trim covers I guess).

There's also the M-performance alcantara trim set, if you didn't know

Don't see it often because most people already spec dry carbon and the 700$ for just a bit of alcantara on the dash isn't worth it

But in your position, from black trim, makes a lot more sense, especially since you're adding the m performance trim kit

Yeah, I noticed there's an alcantara kit (p/n 51952454349). Though I'm not a big fan of alcantara, I can definitely live with that around the shift knob, but not sure about the dashboard.
Also, in my experience, alcantara gets dirty fairly quick, so needs to be cleaned more often.
Turns out the alcantara kit is also almost twice as expensive as the original parts.
Though it's indeed should be a better match for the shift knob trim.
Something to think about.
