Wow. I've learnt a lot about buying to sell; porsches; bmw diy and cow udders!
So for my first post here I can peg some Hong Kong m2cs numbers your way:

HK allocation (according to my sales fella) : 5
HK price : 1498000 hkd (790930 ex tax)

All HK m's are Euro-spec as far as I know.
Yep Euro-spec with RHD and no OPF

Wow, that's approximately 200,000 USD?
AU price is : $160,000 (incl tax/on road) AUD (approx 110,000 USD).

Looks like we actually get it pretty good over here in comparison
Yep, APAC is a different part of the world.

elitt13, in the past, BMW M testdriver Jörg Weidinger lapped The Ring in 07:50 with an M2 Competition. I know that it was reported that Haecker has recently said "8 seconds faster than the M2C" (actually, that piece of information was already leaked in a Belgian video during launch in November 2019). So then it must be 07:42 for the M2 CS on Cup2 tires. Sure that Haecker mentioned "07:44" ?

And as commented earlier, M2C & M2 CS on Michelin PSS will definitely be slower around the Nürburgring in dry conditions than an M2C & M2 CS on Michelin Cup2's or PS4S with the same driver.

See post #2202 of this thread.

Original M2 test mule pushed at dusk at the Nürburgring (Wehrseifen section) - Spring 2015 test sessions:

I like what they did with the bonnet(hood) for the M2CS.

The lines really suit the car.

But it's sooo much more fun to troll with it being a spun crank hub. Any word if it was a closed to public track day? Like you say. Could be a pristine example for press photos, but that seems like an enclosed trailer would be better suited.

I believe I am finally at peace with choosing a color and I landed on black. Gold wheels and red calipers are likely options.

I actually might see about playing with tire pressure in colder weather to see how they heat up.
You are making the correct decision when it comes to the tire specs otherwise you would have to wear your PSSs out before changing to the much improved PS4S. Besides, this new Cup2 tire has been developed for the CS specifically and it has not been released for the aftermarket, at least not yet. This way you will have the option of running the new Cup2s or the improved PS4S over having to stick with the option tire the car comes equipped with (PSS).

MR. posted the production numbers for the new Cup2 tire on another thread; they are 120817 245s and 266154 265s.

2NH - M Sport Brakes with Red Calipers are the standard brakes, the only other option is 2NK - M Carbon Ceramic Brakes. Hopefully you like the red calipers or else you need to get the carbon ceramics to get something different.

Yes. I asked the sales guy today if I could get carbon ceramics with red callipers. Sadly not possible. So it will be steel brakes for me. Not really a problem but I would have liked the carbon rotors. Black, red and silver is tasty.

Have the calipers repainted any color you want.
CCB's is a must have item for me but I may ultimately change color.

Check out surface transforms. I believe they are now selling this size CCM disc for BMW through racing brake. I think it's about $10k for the set, but very low cost to refurbish if you don't push them past the point of being refurbished.

If you want CCB, the factory option is a pretty good deal because your paying a subsidized cost for the discs in the US. Can always go steal later.

Got to be original for me.

BTW I think the black, gold wheels and red brakes you have (finally? ) chosen will look superb. German colours.

M2CS is a special car, it deserves CCB's
The standard brakes are pretty and big but they are extremely heavy.
I'd do AP's if CCB's weren't available.
CCB's have amazing feel.
CCB's have low dust.
It's a easy decision 🏁

Does the CCBS make the car feel more agile and faster with the less weight?

Theoretically yes, I've certainly noticed the benefits of lighter wheels.
