Week 7 peeps, about how long did it take your cars to make it to your dealership after arriving at port? A week, 10 days, 3 days, etc.

6 days from Galveston Port (VPC) to the dealership, 80 miles away ....

Looks like I'll be the last of the Week 7's to take delivery. Genius just told me my car is not expected to leave the VPC for the dealership until this Saturday, which means I won't have my car until the following week. Congratulations on getting your car tomorrow jdarwin; don't know how you'll be able to sleep tonight. Enjoy it in good health!

It took me like 10 days. It was released to carrier (ready to be picked up by truck) Friday. They don't work Sundays so I got pushed all the way till Wednesday. Also the port was only 1.5 hrs away from the dealership. My case was definitely not normal so I would say within a week is better time frame.

Drove car directly to Extreme Colors for clear bra - only put 8 miles on the car! Will hit the road tomorrow for my 11hr trip home. PCD was insane! Driving an M2 on the track was worth the trip! The entire experience was first class. Learning about the capabilities of my car was eye-opening. Highly recommend. Will oost pics this weekend when I get home .

It's exactly what I hoped it would be! Nice and raw feel to it. Totally worth the wait. So *^#@ing good looking too! So happy I went with white. I'm in love. Going outside to stare at it for an hour with a cigar. One of the best days of my life. Thank you BMW!

Considering this "fraternity" was pretty active in relaying info to each other and providing the required psychological support, let's keep this thread alive with any updates or info regarding our cars. Hope I get the chance to meet up with some of you someday. Happy Motoring!

Getting it lowered with eibach springs and turner spacers 12mm front/10mm rear sometime this week hopefully. Will share some pics when done.

Swapped grills and side markers. Front reflectors next. No other mods planned but you never know....
Also, I have over 900 miles on the car since I picked up at PCD - 1200 mile service soon!
