d like to note though, if I were to do it again, id go to a local muffler shop and get my tips from them..
I asked mine and they had superior tips for about 1/3 of the price..

I think would be a great set up would cut the muffler and add two more factor resonator one each side before of your quad tip. The sound would be deep and no drone an lightweight. I would try this if i had a m2.

Has anyone else done this? Thinking about getting it done, surprised there isn't more interest on this thread

So what’s the inside of the MPE look like if a stock muffler is that straight already?

This muffler design just looks crazy to me, all the bit here and there, the chambers, the bends, the bulbs on the back of where the pipe comes out of the muffler box. I guess it's all done for creation of a specific sound, a tuning of sorts. Weird...and HEAVY.

What % increase in volume do you think this had? Interested in getting this done myself combined with a resonator delete but I cant find any info on the increase in volume from this mod alone.

Lets say that it's around 10 to 15%, but please be aware that with in combination with de-cat downpipe (200cell) you will have a lot of drone in comfort mode in a highway.
I've returned back to stock right now, and in the future I might simply create a simple Y pipe which I will replace when going on track. |
